Mehr-un-nisa Munir, commonly known as Mehrunnisa Safdar, was born on November 23, 1993. She is the eldest child of Maryam Nawaz and Muhammad Safdar Awan. On December 26, 2015, she married Raheel Munir, with both being alumni of the London School of Economics.
Mehr-un-nisa is the older sister to Mahnoor Safdar and Muhammad Junaid Safdar. She is also the granddaughter of Nawaz Sharif, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, and his wife Kulsoom Nawaz.
